We are switching to a different SMP host

Official Pre-Server-Move Whitelist
We noticed a few things going on we didn't like. We're not pointing any fingers, but the only viable solution considering the tools we had was to temporarily remove a few of the less active players.

You will only be re-added if you send an email to support@b4n4n4.com. Someone already on the whitelist must vouch for you. Please include your Minecraft username and the person who you have agreed to have vouch for you. KEEP IN MIND: IF you get banned after you've been vouched for, the player who vouched for you will get banned as well. We will outline more rules soon.

Here is your fix. :) Download this file and place it in your "lib" folder, replacing the old minecraft.jar file.

WEBSITE! SMP!

B4N4N4 is soon to be the proud owner of a Minecraft surivival multi player server. The server will be hosted by ServerCraft and will run McMyAdmin and that is all. This will be a "vanilla" server, with no GIVEMEALLTHEITEMS commands. I want it to be an experience the way Notch intended, and it will be.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED FROM STAR WARS CRAFT:

Too bad so sad, you will still be banned from the SMP server. Also, any ban appeals sent to my email or the Facebook will be ignored and the users banned. I don't even really care, my Ops do a great job, and although your spaceship made interirely of swasticas may have been awesome, I'm not inclined to forgive you for it.

Since I know it will happen anyway, I'm going to set up a forum with a ban appeals section that I'll probably ignore. This is the last I will speak of it.

ANYONE WITH SMP EXPERIENCE:

Please let me know! I haven't spent more than 20minutes on an SMP server, so if someone wants to help with the way the usually work I'd appreciate.

The new server is coming along. It is now in a different, better ventilated area (backed up regularly :D), and about to get a processor upgrade.

WEBSITE:
Decided I needed a website the other day. I considered many alternatives, but I always thought B4N4N4 (like, BANANA) was clever, and I've had this domain for a while, so this will be my new home for things game related. Welcome.

MINECRAFT:
The game that this website will mostly cater to is the needs of my Minecraft server(s). I currently have one, Star Wars Craft, and it seems to be doing pretty well. There are many "problems" with Minecraft, like griefing, but that's something inherent in such a free game. You can do whatever you want....to your or anyone's things. I've owned other servers before, TF2 to be specific, and while rewarding, the experience pales in comparison to Minecraft server owning. I like to think Minecraft breathes and grows and lives. No winners or losers, just people doing what THEY want, a reflection of the human spirit.

THE FUTURE OF B4N4N4:
I don't want to micro manage; I feel as though I did and still do occasionally still with my Star Wars minecraft server. The great thing is that I feel like I've done something creative and that people enjoy with the server, and that's ultimately the point of Minecraft. I have another server in the works, just a multiworld buildy-type, just like all the others, so I'm working out how I could make it unique, other than a clever main world. Also: SMP.

WHERE WE GO FROM HERE:
Please stop by the server. You can find a link on the left, which I'll update with the 2nd server once I get around to it. Here are some things I need/want from you, the game Minecraft community:

IN CLOSING:
A forum is in the works, and maybe a blog. But to be honest, I want to stick with email for now. The reason being I don't want it to be easy to give input (don't get me wrong, email is easy). Let me explain: Minecraft is free, can suck up a lot of your time to build something, and it can only take a second for some annon to wreck your masterpiece. In opposite thinking, email is just fine. I don't want "ban appeals" or to hear about how I should add this or that or how so-and-so broke your things. If you have something worth emailing to me, you will know. Please include your Minecraft name.
